Lol, well, you're incorrect

And since evolve is the exclusive SuperSprint dealer in the UK, and they tune a ton of headered 125i's and 130i's (which is a headered/disa 128i), seems likely they know what they're doing with it. Seems highly unlikely anyone has tuned more 3 stage disa/header cars.

No, that isn't correct at all. Evolve doesn't list a header tuned option and I've NEVER seen another Evolve/SS N52 dyno outside of this one - believe me I look.

Furthermore, this dyno doesn't look optimized to SS headers at all, and I have 3 different dynos that confirm that:


330i
Notice the after line for the torque - the first DISA opening produces the MOST torque

and again

Z4SI

And AA header optimized tune

The first two dynos you post are with a bone stock tune-- that's how SS tests their hardware (and that's where those dynos came from).

Just because evolve doesn't list it doesn't mean they don't offer if. As in, they don't list a cam/airbox/MAP converted/header/cat deleting/secondary air pump deleting/valet mode/oil level displayed on cluster/shift light adding/variable redline by gear tune, but that doesn't stop my NA S54 from having it (or 350 rwhp (SAE) from it). There's lots of things they do that aren't listed on their site for sale.

Anyway, I spoke to their tuner on the phone about it, this is header/disa specific.

Pretty sure your brother said it wasn't - you might want to ask him about it.

I'm positive he mentioned it being "Standard Evolve tune" in another thread recently. Regardless - further optimization is required for best results.

Standard evolve tune for cars with headers and disa-- not yet specifically tweaked for his car. Plan going forward is to data log, tweak, re dyno when not mid July.

Standard as in anyone that gets an evolve tune for a car running 93 octane with 3 stage disa and headers will get exactly this as their base tune.

The oil cooler scoop is pretty awesome. Provides a direct air ram to the front right fender mounted cooler:

My redline is 7k, but car pulled timing so the last bit of the dyno is irrelevant.
