Appears the 130i does have different headers and all three have different exhaust pipes...

Looks like it: starts out 12/2006(?): 18407563738 and 18407563737 "up to 3/2009" then 3/2009: 18407646692 18407646693 "from 3/2009" (no expiration) and 18407596878 18407596879 "from 3/2009 up to 9/2012" then 10/2012:18407646692 18407646693 "from 3/2009" Probably it was an either or from 3/2009 to 9/2012. I didn't look too long, but 130i shows no history of using 6692 and 6693. Makes me wonder what the difference is. I remember from my 510 days there were two exhaust manifolds, one that was a fairly crude manifold and one that created a true 4-2-1 exhaust. St|G, when you have time, tear out your headers and do dyno runs with both sets of stock manifolds to determine if there is a performance advantage to either. If there was any advantage, I could probably sneak 6878 and 6879 past the CARB.

I shot AA an email, i believe their tune can be.. "off road" or catless enabled without any check engine lights. I'm waiting on confirmation, but their website specifically states that for the n52 tunes. If so, I may have a surprise for everyone...

As far as i'm aware NYS doesn't have tail pipe sniffers or anything like that. Ofcourse they do OBD2 plug ins, but only to check for check engine lights, i'm unsure of why that would show that the headers would change if the check engine light for the primary cats was turned off?

update, a local facebook n52 guru said the bms n54 DP fix indeed does work for n52 as a o2 sim. he said it wires in the same way and uses the same pins. will update when I have more info.

If that doesn't work out, the Evolve tune leaves the sensors showing as ready and not throwing a code.
