BMW 1M with Evolve Exhaust, Evolve FMIC and Evolve Flash
We have been working on further development with our 1M tuning program.
We have developed our own FMIC (which is direct fitment to 1M and 135i/335i) and exhaust system for the 1M. More details about the individual parts to follow in seperate threads. Evolve Rear Race Exhaust - bolt on. Evolve FMIC This is direct bolt on and uses the stock hoses/couplers. No trimming or modifications required. Dyno Results - Stock vs Evolve FMIC/Exhaust vs Evolve FMIC/Exhaust/Tune NB. The spike at 2750RPM is caused by the car being released after being held under load on the dyno. It is not present while driving the car on the road. WHP WHTorque BHP (Flywheel) Torque (Flywheel) Decat Downpipes next on the list. Last edited by Imran@Evolve; 01-18-2012 at 12:15 PM.. |

Just waiting on the decatted DPs coming in...
Guys, I can't described how pleased I am with this set of modications. The car is really transformed. Awesome low-down grunt - pulls very nicely from as low as 1800rpm in 6th, combined with fierce urge higher up the rev range - feels like a free-reving NA now up there. The friends I've taken out in it can't believe how quick it feels...

I can't really do an impression Imran - vrrrrrm, vrrrrrrrrm, vrrrrm maybe ;-)
It sounds great. When just cruising it's not that different to stock. Nicer and deeper burble on start, and under load it sounds fruiter and has a lovely metalic zing at high revs.

It would be good to have a sound clip with the car running preferably in different gears to have a complete idea. Power gains look impressive too. |

Correct. It is made to our specification (noise, tailpipe design etc) by Supersprint Italy exclusively for Evolve.

Nice results, but how does that nearly 50 wheel TQ sharp loss from ~ 2800-3100 RPM affect drivability? I've noticed other aftermarket tunes also exhibit such non-linearity.
