Oh the app posted them in reverse order. And I just placed it on the tips to mock up. Not actually mounted to the car.

Oh hahaha that makes way more sense. I'm really excited to see it together! The look is very unique and cool, much more modern than the OEM style but still fits the car well. I'm not a huge fan of the 2-series style bumpers people are sticking on the 1's, it's just not the same styling at all.

Yeineken I should also mention, there's a 1er and 2er meet this Friday in Tyson's Corner, VA. I know that's a haul for you but if you're interested let me know! It'll be 8pm to whenever, and there will be much photography occurring. Additionally, there's a car show on Saturday, also at 8pm, that some of the local BMW community is attending, it's called Cars & Cream (car show at an ice cream shop) and I can share more details on that too if you'll be around.

Thanks for the invite. Friday will be tough with work. I'll check and see what I have going on Sunday and if I can make the trip here with the car.

Finally got the car out and washed this week. Really liking the look of the car now with a slight drop compared to stock. Ride height is set to 1M stock height.

Car drives amazing with the M3 suspension and subframe. Really worth the hassle.

Diffuser came out alright. It will for sure push me to get the rear body work conversion done sooner rather than later.

Also Lightweight Lip and 1M mirrors are in the mail.

Loving the new look! Where do the front tires sit in relation to the rear with the 1M front and 135 rear?

I will try and get a picture for you. Almost perfectly squared.

Here's how the front and rear line up. Pretty close to square.

Lightweight lip came in. Couldn't wait until the weekend to install it. So I installed it in the rain.

Car is looking great buddy. Extend those exhaust tips out 1cm past the diffuser! It'll look 100x better.

Well back to the drawing board folks.

Had an encounter last night with a ripped up tire on the highway last night.

Lightweight lip took it like a champ. No damage to that. Bumper clear coat cracked in several spots and took a chunk of paint off. Structurally it survived tho. Going to be able to respray the front bumper this coming fall.

However the diy diffuser didn't survive the encounter. Placed an order for Riegers quad diffuser and $20 for a new toe hook cover. What an expensive night.

Bummer!

That's bad luck...

Sorry man. Guess it could've been worse, though.

Oh could've been a lot worse! Very thankful the only damage was a cheap diy diffuser. Been wanting to respray the front bumper anyway.

I think the Rieger will look at lot better anyway.

Patiently waiting for the new piece...

In the process of painting the mirror caps and tow hook. Should have time to install them this weekend.

Caps and tow hook painted. Luckily the humidity these past few days didn't mess with it.
