Headers for the sound.

Definitely worth it. The shift lights are awesome and now I have the best possible temp gauges of any car made period.

Why did you go with v1 and not the v2 wheel?
Where did you buy from?

V1 is proper amber, v2 is stupid white which is terrible for night vision. I hate BMW's move to white recently, though I suppose it makes sense given everything else they are doing.

Otto's BMW in West Chester PA found it for me in the national parts database at BMW of Roswell in Georgia. Called and chatted with them, got a good deal(half price), and ordered it. Wheel arrived immediately but they forgot to ship the clock spring. While I waited I Leatheriqued the wheel as it had been on a shelf for a few years. The clock spring finally arrived yesterday after two months and a ton of phone calls.

Not complaining as it is amazing.

Yes, as was the MSport wheel that I had previously.

I can't stand thin steering wheels.

Thanks! You might be able to source one used, but you need to make sure it comes with all the parts. I've yet to see one.

I have a question.

Locally, there is a brand new set of all 4 135i grey calipers with just under 100km on them
for under $ 1k

Should I bite the bullet, despite all their drawbacks? I mean they are new and the car stays OEM+ I'm far from a track user

I personally would. I'm never going to track my car hard enough to break them so they'd just be bigger, better, more visually pleasing brakes. You would need the 135i rear knuckle though, the front's would bolt right up.

Yes I know the rear would either be without the hand brake or not used at all.
Custom work to make the handbrake shoe fit/135i knuckle isn't something that is high priority.

FYI The 135i reear knucle is the same part as: 335i/328xi/330i/325xi. Also requires the Hub from 135i that @flinchy mentioned and brake shoes

Still no.

They offer no tangible benefits a more performance oriented set of street pads wouldn't offer aside from bling.

Wheel part number: 32 30 0 443 170

The whole kit is listed as one part number. I further tested this during the project by trying to input the numbers of the parts in the kit. They yielding nothing.

You need everything listed in the BMW install guide for it:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1237994507

I know it says you need the two numbers, but everything is included in the previously mentioned wheel number and as I far as I know you can't order them separately. Just in case you want it though...

Parts kit as a whole:
32 30 0 445 258

Individually:
01 29 0 444 862 Operating instructions
61 12 0 444 598 Wiring harness
61 31 9 122 381 Coil spring cartridge
61 35 0 444 602 Control unit
01 29 0 444 861 Installation instructions

^^ Thanks. I'll look for this thing in Canada

I sent this 135i Caliper place a low ball offer & info request, will see what they reply.
I figure that 128i pads, rotors, sensors will cost me about $600-700 locally no matter what pad combination. So, I want to explore all options especially if 135i calips can be had for cheap ( eg. why I looked up 130i/330i caliper carrier & 330mm disk)

Price is pretty silly for those of us sourcing our own, but at least all the part numbers are there.

Yeah the price is pretty crazy, but its nice to have a back up option. No manifolds have been popping up lately.

There are manifolds, in Sweeden. I think a eurobox and manifold combo can be had for 600-700 USD shipped
