The weather report looks great for the weekend, so Sunday is turning out to be a good day to meet-up and take pictures of our car.

Lookin forward to sunday, hope you guys don't judge me too much I had someone hit the back of my car and i don't think it'll be fixed by then, unfortunately they didn't leave a note either so that's a double burn. My iCarbon diffuser is also scratched up back there so I might have to sit out of any rear shots we take.

Just curious how long folks will be at FHP? Since it is Halloween weekend, parties will be going on the night before and it's unlikely I will make it home before 3am. If I get there by 11 will people still be hanging around? What about grilling? Maybe I could pick up some stuff on the way down.

I'll personally be hanging around until at least 12-noon or later, depending on the crowd. Grilling is fine. I can bring some Nathans and bratwursts and a cooler full of sodas. Just let me know what you want to do.

Haha absolutely hoping to have a good time, it'll be good to have some faces with the "names" on here. And looking forward to seeing some more 1ers. I'll also have my Alpine HIDs out for sunday as I've been getting an adaptive headlight malfunction and was told by my friend at VOB to get my car back to stock so they can try and reprogram the lights. Hope no one was to pressed to see what they look like...(they look awesome though by the way)

I'd like to make it, but I'm not sure I can show my face. I got my car a few weeks ago, and it's FILTHY. I've been trying to figure out what stuff to use to wash it, so I don't damage the paint. Couldn't decide. I finally settled on what I wanted, and got it all yesterday, but won't have time to wash the car before the meet on Sunday, so would probably have to show up dirty. (Unless I get up at the crack of dawn to wash it, and THAT ain't happening!)

If I show up with the car looking like this, I just KNOW you'll all talk about me behind my back!

Besides I have a banged up rear bumper right now...can't get that fixed before Sunday either :-\

Subwoofer Enclosure FYI

Hey guys, I figured I'd ask now just in case...

I actually sold my 135i last weekend (blasphemy, I know) but I managed to save my subwoofer system (enclosure, sub, amp, etc.).

It's a really sleek looking fiberglass stealth enclosure that's wrapped in a leather/vinyl-like covering. I had a local JL Audio Signature dealer design and build it about 4 months ago. It's designed to fit any 10" subwoofer, but I was using a JL Audio 10W6.

Anyway, it's for sale, so if any of you were thinking of getting a sub, but don't want to compromise on trunk space, this might be the ticket.

$300 cash takes it! Here's a video review back when I had it in my car. Let me know if you're interested and I can bring it on Sunday!

Hey guys. New to the BMW world myself. I started working at BMW of Sterling 2 months ago as their IT guy and ordered myself a 2011 alpine white/corral red 135i. The car's "done with production but waiting to be shipped", so I don't have it yet. It'll be nice to meet some of you guys though until I can roll up to the next meet with an actual 1er.

M2 - 135i (MODs - Dinan ECU flash and full suspension swap)
macleod135 - 135i (Maybe)
enigma135 - 135i (Dinan Stage 2 flash, BMW performance bits)
Gdubz - 135i
MikeinAlexandria - 128i M Sport (might have the BMW Performance suspension by then)
Smallbodybimmer - 135i (Procede V4, etc.)
Agent P
CapHiller1 (maybe)
Matador (Maybe)

That's a great color combo. Did you get the DCT or 6MT?

6MT. BMW Carbon fiber trim, iCarbon cf seatbacks, iCarbon cf diffuser, iCarbon cf hood, BMW Performance exhaust. That's everything ordered/sitting in my house waiting for car/getting installed at the port.

I hear/read great things about the DCT but I can't stand driving an auto.

I'm jealous. That's the combo I was planning to order my 335i in before I ended up getting this 135i. I'm sure your car's going to look fresh!

My car is dirty dirty too. I'm a graphic designer and I'll be taking pics on Sunday. Photoshop can do wonders in the right hands.

Sounds like a great setup. I'm with you on the auto, although the DCT is faster. I sold my perfectly fine 135i 'vert just so that I could have the fun of driving a 6MT, although I decided to go a totally different non-BMW route for now. Most of my friends/family think I've lost my mind, but I assure you, I've been scheming for a long time...

Haha, thanks guys! I'm really excited to get my car. What route did you go kioko12? I came from an s2000. Loved that car and miss it since the day I sold it.

Sorry for the last minute update but I drove by the Ft Hunt meet area today on the way back form Chapterfest and there were no grills in the area so we will not be doing any grilling. Sorry in advance. But we will be taking pics and hanging out at the meet and greet.
