New Dash Cam
Hi,
I've just bought a Nextbase 422gw dash cam with the hardwire kit and I'm looking for advise as to which fuse to tap into for a permanent live so I can use it for parking mode. Thank you. Car is a 61 plate convertible |

Are you sure you want it to go to permanent live power?
Does the hardwire kit include a voltage shut off or whatever that little meter is where it shuts off power to the camera when the car voltage starts getting too low? Otherwise, there's a few threads around here with people wiring cameras and radar detectors (check the DIY and the ConnectedDrive/AV sections), but never hurts to get your own multimeter, and check the fuse you plan to use anyways. |

Thanks for reply, the hardwire kit does have a built in voltage protector so should be ok there and not have a flat battery.
Will have a look around to see if I can find the fuse location I require. |
