SOS Light on head unit dead after emergency braking

I wanted to show my friend the new brake setup on my track prepped 128i so I slammed on the pedal as hard as I could dropping from 50-0 very quickly. After I did that the sos light came on and my head unit is now dead. I tried clearing all codes and letting it sit for 10 minutes and turning it back on and it didn't fix it. Anyone else had this problem or know any solutions?
