BMWhat Battery Coding
I just noticed that the BMWhat app now offers in-app purchasing and battery coding is one of the options. If this is true this app will be a game changer, yet again. I may have to look into finally buying and adapter and the app. If anyone tries this out let us know how it works.

I've been poking at my N55 with a BT Scan Tool... and there is no support for battery registration. They'd told me the same a few months ago (by email), but I guess I was hoping they'd updated the thing. Nope. And so I, too, am looking for another option. I don't have a smartphone, but I suppose I could find a cheap Android tablet for $100? Anybody else that has experience coding with battery registration on an N55 (MEVD17KW), please chime in.
