Thanks for repply.
if i change bearing-disk mount by standard of 135i will not fit?
if problem is in caliper holes, no way if metal turner mod this?

Anyone know what is real difference, for not possible 13i brakes?

You need to change the whole front assembly but it is certainly possible. M3 brakes are much better than 135 brakes, don't let the fancy calipers fool you.

OK. If you want to use those dampers you will need the whole spindle from the 1M/M3. You might be able to have a custom adapter made for the 135i brake caliper to fit the M rotor if you really want, but at that point it would be easier to use the M brakes as well, no custom work just bolt on.

Fine, i know difference in bearing-rotor mount, but maybe i can put 135 bearing, have also 4 screw and appear is "same" but will not fit.

caliper 135 in m3 spindle, what is complication? distance of holes not fit, or what is difference?

Thanks

yes distance of holes

13cm for M3

11cm for all other BMW including new M4

I use complete front M3 on my 335i
M3 brakes are a lot better than 3351 and 135i

much difference, no way for mod this.

i look one adapter for e46 m3 for mount performance or 135 brakes with CSL rotors.

maybe e46 have also 13cm, you know this? if e92 m3 brakes will fit in E46, this adapter can be used for my case.

135i brakes (i have performance painted and stick) with e46 m3 adapter if will fit in e9X m3 spindle will be good solution, with big rotors of e46 csl

sell 135i brakes i meant in this, but is my last option. m3 brakes are good brakes but look is crap, almost in rear axle maybe is need also remplace spindle for m3 brakes. much work, and money.

You could use some Titanium shims on the backs of your brake pads to help a little if heat is your real concern. Other than that, that's as far as you're getting with 135i calipers before rebuilding with steel pistons, or swapping to M brakes which were designed for the heat of track driving, unlike the 135 calipers.

Hi, did you find this adapter? I am intterested too, because i would like to use the 1M/M3 spindle in order to fit Ohlins shocks and i would prefer keep my 135i caliper if possible. Thanks

If you're going to an M3 spindle you should change to M3 brakes. They're MUCH better, cheaper, and have a million pad options. You'll have to do the E90 rear hub mod to run the rears though.

I know they are much better, but... if i am correct, they won't clear my 18" 261 Wheels. that's why i woul prefer to keep my front 135i calipers. Rear i ever fit full 135i brakes.

I would be very surprised if they didn't fit, but I don't know for sure.

Been there, done that. 261 wheels will not fit over M3 brakes.

maybe the best solution is m4 spindle:

Increible great contribution of KevM3UK:
https://www.m3post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=141

m4 have same distance as standard E9x or 135i for example. caliper of 135 sure fit in spindle m4, the problem is rotor, maybe not compatible.

other solution is m4 spindle with m4 brakes like post of KevM3UK
