Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers

What's up everyone. I wound up getting rid of the air ride and as I am taking my car in a different direction.

I went ahead and ordered some Fortune Auto 500 coils with Swift Springs, locking collars, and radial bearings.

Here is the first part of the video of me doing an unboxing. I will have the install video up this week, and will update this with a review too once I get some more driving time on them. Be sure to check out all my other videos, and be on the watch for whats to come.

What made you decide to go with them over other options people have installed?

I wanted to be different. Plus they're right in Virginia, they have radial bearings so there's no coil bind, the warranty, and they ride really nice so far.

This is all I have at the moment. My LMs don't fit anymore so I'm in the oem wheels for now.

8k fronts and 11k rears. Swift springs tho so they ride better than the standard.

Whats your opinion of them?

Not to be negative, but I havn't heard the best about them. But, that's in motorsports. Seen a few guys drop them as a sponsor on their own accord because they were so bad they made their cars uncompetetive. Again, thats on the track though, not a street car, so I'm curious how they are on a daily.

The build quality is exceptional, especially since they're less than $1500. They ride pretty well too for the little bit of miles I've put on them. I will update this thread periodically with more feedback. My water pump just took a crap, so I have to wait a little to really test the dampening and dial it in to my liking.

Here is the install video, make sure you guys check it out!

These videos are super fun to film, just need more motivation to edit them together after the fact!

I have a couple of questions about your previous set up.

I saw that you had LM’s on and you had to take them off because they didn’t fit due to the new suspension. I’m about to put some 19” LM’s on my 128i with M Sport suspension. Also going with H&R Super Sport springs.

My questions are will they fit and if you had to tweak anything to fit your LM’s on your 1er.

Thank you and those Coilovers look nice BTW.

They're great, ride quality is awesome for a daily + spirited driving. Haven't had it on a track yet tho.

My LMs fit fine I ran them for about a year and just sold them. I ran a spacer to clear the front collars.

I'm not sure if your 19s will fit tons of variables
