That blue fender looks really nice!

Does that have adjustable bolsters or is that sport only?

Curious but does he have a store link?

And are you fitting a wider axle or just gonna get mega wide wheels lol?

That's Sport only. Sport seats also get adjustable thigh supports.

He doesn't have a store right now, I told him he should set one up. He's got a thread in the cosmetic section so you can PM him there. I'll bump it with these pics too.

As far as axle, not sure I'm I'm doing the narrow hub mod or not. I may have to. My new wheels are 19x9.5/10.5+22

Had a (very) slight break between rain storms, so I decided to scrub the grime off.
Sun Joe and two-buckets.
Took 4 passes to get the brake dust off the wheels!

Checked the torque on the subframe bolts after the Whiteline insert install a few weeks ago. Like many have experienced, they were a slight bit under-torqued.

Last night I FINALLY got my new slicktop headliner installed! There's a good bit more headroom, so, hopefully, I'll be able to fit in the car with a helmet, and not have to lean to the inside of the car. I also added an extra strip of silicone around the gap between the delete panel and the roof panel for a little extra leak protection. I also squared-away my rear toe. The car now has 0 toe in the rear, and feels so good. It hunkers-down and launches out of corners!

Today, we have a DC-area Meet-and-Cruise with a few 1'er and non-1'er people. If you're on the 1Addicts or DMV 1Addicts & 2Addicts facebook groups, check out the event details and join us! No need to meet at the first meeting point; we've got a few stragglers who will be joining us along the way.

I just put my roof down and now it won't close. The light in the button doesn't flash, no sounds or anything. Anyone got any ideas ?

EDIT, the cover wasn't seated all the way...weird. Anyway, fixed.

Ordered wheels a couple days ago.
Ordered tires today. Place I was going to order from no longer had them but I found on ebay for even cheaper.

Wheels, 17X9 ADVANTI DST STORM S1 17 HYPER SILVER; $627.24 (tax+shipping)
Tires, 255/40-17 Federal RS-RR, $512.94
Total: $1,140.18

That's about as cheap and I can find for 'race' setup. I think I did pretty well. But ultimate factor will be if fitment works.

Jeez. Link to the eBay store? $600 is my type of price...

Also were you able to confirm the weight?

Tire Rack said 17.4. The 20+ we'd seen was shipping weight.

This is where I got tires, https://www.ebay.com/usr/ifixitzone
Sold as a pair, said he had 2 sets (4 tires) left and I got those.

There was another on there that was really close in price though.

It's mad that it couldn't keep up with a 128i on the way up to Skyline

I also have 185k miles of rock chips to not care about (the road was covered in gravel due to snowfall earlier in the week). That may be why...

Spent the weekend ignoring my alignment, again, instead fixing a small boost leak...

With a BIG intercooler. Wow is this thing massive. I have drastically revised my definition of "minor" when in the context of "requires minor trimming of the plastic shrouding during installation".... Did get to use one of my favorite tools ever tho- if you've not had the luxury of using a Roto-Zip bit in a Dremel tool then you're missing out. Just walks through fiber reinforced plastic like nothing, and it doesn't melt the plastic like basic cut off wheels do.

Really pleased with how well it works during the test runs Sunday afternoon. Grabbed a bunch of logs that I need to review still, but it seems to stay within 15* of ambient when engine is at operating temps, and as the reviews said, it actually drops several degrees at the start of a run, and I don't think I saw any temps over 100*, but the logs will tell the truth of it.

And, I couldn't have gotten a better fit is I had measured and custom ordered- it's right up to the grill, but not pushing on it The comparison pic is OE, PR 5.5" and the PR 7.5" Race.

Yessir! I did it a bit differently too and documented the process, I have a lot to update you all on lol... chris_flies is aware of the chaos that transpired last week

That thing is MASSIVE. I just fitted the VRSF 7in unit and was impressed by the difference it made. I can't even imagine what this is like. You'll have to share some logs!

Also wasn't aware there's a roto-zip attachment for the Dremel!!! That would have made life sooo much easier. I'll have to find/buy one now lol.

It was quite a bit of chaos and I just realized that we didn't switch cars like we were talking about at one point. Oh well, I still had stupid amounts of fun...
