I have all the equipment at my house to do it; I will supervise, teach, and assist where needed for $80 bucks (you bring your own gaskets, I have the walnut shells).

Typical time is ~3 hours

Hi all,
I´m new to this forum but I´ve been quite active at zroadster.com.
My 2003 Z4 e85 is sleeping in a garage back in Germany.
So i moved last year from Germany to Ann Arbor, Mi and got me an 2012 128i.
I already installed a magnaflow catback and had to change VVT gasket and camshaft sensors and solenoid valves.
Now I´m looking into new rims.
With thoise weird offsets for the rear I´ll probably go with VMR or Apex.

Welcome to the slowest part of the USA for 1addicts! We are few, we are proud. I'm more than an addict, I'm a fanaddict! 128 fan more particularly. I've owned 3 n54 powered 135s and many 128s. I work on this generation for a living as the independent BMW specialist in the city of Detroit.
A fellow enthusiast in the Metro Flint market has a set of bronze Apex arc-8 for sale in great shape with 40%/90% Michelins square 18s. He was around $1400 on them last we spoke. Feel free to pm me for contacts.
I had a set in silver on my first 128 so many years ago and was very pleased. Subsequent owner put 100k metro Detroit miles on them before needing to replace 1 due to potholes.
Anyway, welcome to this dark, quiet corner of the web! Enjoy A2 and if you need any local guidance, feel free to reach out. I'm way beyond very familiar with both of your BMWs.

That´s good news.
For installation of the magnaflow i went to mymechanics in Livonia and did it myself.
So when I´ll think about doing springs or suspension I´ll definetly come back to you.
That´s a job I don´t want to do on my own.
Do you do ECU flashs when i want to install the 3stage manifold?

Attached a pic from my beloved Z4 running on KW V3 and OZ Ultraleggeras when i guided a tour with some other ZZZZ´s.
From my 128i I need to take some pictures soon.

Figured I’d chime in on this thread.
2011 135 6MT 😁 the fun daily while my wife took over my f10 for the time being. On winter tires for now but need to recondition the 261s. Still a laundry list of stuff to do but in the meantime, it’s been great.
