Another WH 1 owner, nice.

I'll there around 8 AM. Last Sunday of the month!

The turnout lately has been incredible. I'll be driving the Alpine White 135i with Coral Red leather and M Package.

It's today, the last Sunday of the month usually from 7am-10am. Definitely worth the effort.

I was there, but only saw one 1 series there and it looked like a Bob Smith advertisement since one was there in the exact same spot last time and had the Bob Smith plate on it.

I was there and saw 3 135s all AW, mine would have made it 4 but it stayed home. The Bob Smith one, another with red interior parked by McD's and one with a plate F1 RULZ.

Ok, I was there, and that is my AW 135i. It is not an advertisement for Bob Smith, I just haven’t taken the stuff off yet. I get there early and park down a bit in the same spot in the hopes that a few more 135s will park there, but that first lot fills up by 6:30.

I saw 3 135s today, but they were spread out…

Next month let’s see if everyone can get there by 6:30 and park together. Some classic guys will set out chairs to sort of reserve a few spots.

Also, what’s sort of fun, especially in a 135i, is after the event, make a left out of the parking lot and go down about a mile, and you intersect with Topanga Canyon. Take a right down to PCH. That run is a blast!

A lot of enthusiasts look at my 135i at that event, because they say that they don’t see very many of them, and they are curious about them. One guy (from today’s event) who has a John Cooper Works Mini was looking, and said he wanted to get rid of his Mini and get a 135i. Even the M3 pilots will comment on the 1er. The best one though is the 335i pilots, they all say they wish their 335s had the 135i Brake Calipers with the BMW writing on them.

I was thinking the same. This was the best 1 Series turnout I've seen. Parking together would be very cool next month.

My car was the Alpine White/Coral Red at McDonalds.

Yes, you will be parking at McDonalds if you don’t get there by 7:30.

When I got there it was just getting light, and the first section was a Third FULL!

I took tons of pics. I am always there on the last sunday of the month. My aperture library is at home, I 'll have to make a webpage tonight. There were some amazing cars yesterday.

Bugatti Veyron
5 1950's Mercedes 300SL
Multiple F430 Scuderia 16M
Lambos out the nose
3 Z8s
a Gaggle of M5s and M3s
A huge collection of Challengers
5 Tesla roadsters, maybe more
5 1 series, incl mine

Hell yeah we need a huge 1 series turnout. BUT, you gotta get there really early. Let's shoot for next month, last sunday 6am.

edit: PS CHP now knows about this event. There were a TON of cop activity on the Ventura FWY heading out to Woodland Hills from Sherman Oaks.

Didn't mean to offend. It's just by chance that there was a black 135 in almost that exact same spot the prior month. And since they are just up the road, I put on my cynical hat... :-/

Great pics xbook! You caught my Montego Blue 135 in those early photos. I guess that's only poetic since I caught yours last month.

Believe it or not two weeks ago at the smaller Super car Sunday meet, I parked up a bit and in between an M5 and a Porsche.

The Vet guys seem to like parking next to me, maybe because of the smaller car.

Hey, maybe Bob Smith will give me something for the FREE advertising?
