Hi revs then misfire at start up

Anyone had this problem when you start the car it revs to almost 2000rpm then drops and start to misfire and almost stall and it will carry on until it rights itself or engine fault appears on Idrive screen (no engine check light ) I can turn car off then back on and it will be normal
Now this only happens once every couple of days and only in the morning

Get the codes read. I have those almost exact symptoms and it looks like it may be my HPFP or low pressure pump sensor based on my codes.

No codes as of yet so guess I'm going to have to play the waiting game (last time I had a crook coil pack it took a month for it to throw a misfire code)

Spark plugs. Mine did something similar. Plugs were beyond their expected life. Problem is gone now.
