Just a quick note to say hi.

Been reading the forums and find them a great source of information. First time BMW owner very recently after a series of Japanese and other German cars.

Current garage:
Volkswagen polo GTI - 2015 candy white
BMW 1m coupe - 2012 alpine white

Yeah, I personally know more people with 1Ms than 135i's from the forums in Melbourne actually

Thanks for the warm welcome.

GTI is a 7 speed DSG. No noticeable habit of drinking oil. (Engine is EA888 - 1.8t). Fantastic city car.

One car I've owned that; whilst also great; did use a bit of oil was a Volkswagen MkV Gti - 2009 black magic. Ultimately reliable but used say 1L per 5,000km.

1m too early to tell.
