Quick-adjust suspension pieces
Hi guys. First time bmw owner here. Actually still not literally a bmw owner, I'm ordering a 135 for my spouse who is finally liberated from minivan purgatory. (was about to buy a mini S or wait for the Fiat 500 when I saw the 135 reviews) I'm a longtime porsche guy but don't know squat about bimmers.
Anyhow: I'm hoping to borrow the wife's car for a few track days, but the prospect of grinding away at those pricey run-flats isn't appealing. Also it sounds like from the reviews the car comes with a pretty compromised setup. So my thinking is to install some camber plates at the strut tower, and an adjustable ARB in back. Then I haul a set of R-compounds to the track on the roof rack, dial in 3 degrees of camber, stiffen up the rear, and go driving. Then switch it all back for the ride home. Curious to know who are the venders for this sort of stuff? I'm assuming whatever works on a 335 is going to work on the 135 if not a direct matchup then quick to develop. |

Well, for vendors--and I have no association with any vendor--try TC Kline Racing, Turner Motorsports, Active Autowerke, and Bimmerworld for a few suggestions. There are other good ones as well.
