Windows go halfway down when opening the doors

Picked up my car from the service and when I opened the doors the windows went halfway down so I though they done some programming to change the behavior, but it was only that time, now it does the 1cm down as always. Is this something configurable? Did I miss it on the user's manual?

If you double press the unlock button on the remote then the windows go halfway down when you open the doors and back up again when you close them.

Makes it easier to get in and out in tight spaces.

The rest of the time they just go down enough to clear the sills...
