flex fuel wires on and E85 on Map 5
I installed the flex fuel wires on my 2013 E88 135i and this morning was the first time that I put E85 in the tank... mixed about 40% roughly. Left it on Map5 and went on some twisties up in the mountains near home. Seat of the Pants meter was saying it was good but the true test came when I went around a camper that was going really slowly... 40kph... I downshifted and floored it and WOW... the E85 makes a huge difference. If you are on the fence go for it... inexpensive mod and quite a return.
If I had to guess the car pulled from 40kph to 130kph in about 4 seconds... it was quick...  |

I have jb4 downpipe intake exhaust map 7 and e85 dyno'ed at
350 whp on a hot and humid day. Man does e85 change the characteristics of the car and makes for some some freeway rides!!! |
