Turner Intake Silicone Tube

Has anyone tried the Turner intake tube? In trying to find more about it, it looks like a rebadged Mishimoto. Wondering if anyone has one or has knowledge of this part vs. Rev Motoring's intake tube.

Good luck with that, not being sarcastic, its hard to find someone who has dynoed one by itself to see if there are any real differences. I did however put one on my 128(rev) and have not had any issues. I had also put an ecs one on my s54 and it popped off on the new owner last year.

More info here:

This user claims 4 hp around the midrange but no peak hp increase:

It's a silicone tube. I'm sure they're all the same.

I added it to my car. Can't tell a power difference but it gives you more induction noise which I definitely enjoy.

FWIW I've run a dyno with the RevMotorsports hose. It was already on the dyno for testing headers and the hose was swapped in and run again. Gained 9rwhp on a Dyno Dynamic, seems high but it is what it is. Honestly, it's not really worth it by itself unless you want the increase in induction noise.

Both statements confuse me. You gained *9* rwhp with a $70 hose and think its not worth it?

I don't think it'd help if the exhaust is stock, at least not by much. This dyno was done after dyno'ing with Cradin ceramic coated and ThermoTec Kevlar wrapped Supersprint headers that gained about 21rwhp.

I have the Mishimoto version of this. I love it, the induction noise is addicting! The doo-waah sound is fun to play with!

The car felt like it gained some throttle response, but I think it was more related to the car being down and out for a week for my intake swap (tested before tuning it), and me being stuck with turbo cars for that week.

As chris_flies indicates about the increased response in the throttle, I installed my Turner silicon intake today, and the first thing I noticed was an increase in the throttle, therefore, I would have to agree with it.

I does give some whoosh somewhere along the mid range when getting down on it, it may give some boost in there somewhere, but not enough for a driver to notice...I would def say it is worth the price, and it looks cool in the engine bay.

I went with blue, looking at some blue silicon vacuum lines to match...I say, go for it..

I have the RM tube, the thicker one. It made my exhaust louder after eurobox silenced it.
I do enjoy the mod.

I also have the Mishimoto version of this hose, the intake sound is much more noticeable, worth it imo!

I just installed the Rev motoring hose on my car today. My AA tuned N51 is pretty high output, and I wanna say this thing helps the mid range. I just don't feel that dead spot as much but tbh it could all be placebo. Regardless, I have more induction noise so I can't complain

Now to take that induction noise up to 11...

I did space the intake box, but the drone was stupid and made it painful to have any fun with the car. I do miss the craziness of it, but it was too uncivilized for me (which is saying a lot)

I want it to have the growling howl that the old DTM cars had as they drove towards the cameras at WOT (might be dreaming a bit).

I imagine, with an Alpha-N tune with the TB and MAF delete you could put some velocity stacks on...

I put a gap (using some clever Erector set usage) between the two halves of the airbox, basically opening up the tract to the panel filter.

It made some epic noise at full tilt and zipping around town, but when merging onto a highway in 2nd or 3rd, the drone was brutal, and just accelerating from lights was painful.

Oh that sounds interesting! Also, does the Euro box increase or decrease sound?
