Burger Motorsports Cowl Filter

For those of us with the Oil Catch Can, as you know it takes some time to remove that gosh darn cowl. Burger has these little filters to go over the HVAC vents and make it so you won't have to go through removing that cowl every time you want to empty out your oil catch can.

Has anyone been using them? Any problems?

URL if you haven't seen what I'm talking about:

I really don't care about the "weight savings" or better sound. I'm just in it for the convenience of easier catch can access.

I've ran through multiple touchless car washes without my cowl and filter, and it was perfectly fine. Well it's more like, I forgot to put it on, and I realize right before the wash lol. I did put it back on when we had the blizzard here couple weeks ago Just make sure your ECU cover is properly sealed, and the driver side as well.

Do you think it would be a problem with heavy rains? We've yet to have it, but weather reports El Nino rains still somewhere in Southern California's future...

I've had the cowls for at least 6 months through washing the car, heavy Vegas rains and I got my JB4 running inside of it through the grommets on the side and zero issues!

Weight savings is nice and the extra sounds are well worth it!

Ive had the filters for over a year now with no adverse affects. Just remember you need to clean them when you clean your cone filters.

As for the catch can.... I cant see any value in it. Im not running E85 so I don't get the black goo but otherwise I've seen a light film that barely messed up a tissue
