2008 135i E88 - replacement front bumper

Hey bimmer geeks,

I have an 08' 135i E88 w/60K. Even though it's in excellent condition overall I'm very picky so I've been replacing parts to bring it up to "newer" car standards - the first owner was a driver, not an anal car enthusiast! (I've owned for 6 yrs).

So far I've replaced the original 264 style alloys (no rash or nicks for me!) with BMW 313 style (M performance - 135is style), new convertible top, new windshield (no pitting for me!), VRSF 5" stepped intercooler, VRSF aluminum charge pipe, and a few wear/miscellaneous parts. To up the performance I went with a COBB Accessport with Stage 1+ map - really woke up this 1'er!

So, I'm now looking to either just get the front bumper and hood repainted (normal wear) or replace the front bumper with something more aggressive. For me, the key to any modification or upgrade is to retain an OEM look but improve condition and aesthetics. I don't want a car that looks modified (tasteful upgrades!), I'm hoping an untrained eye wouldn't know if my 135i was all original or not. Anyone know of a replacement front bumper (may look into rear next) that "fits perfect" but has a more aggressive look?

Thanks... sorry for the long winded question.

The BMW Performance bumper, although I'm not sure if it is considered more aggressive looking, taste is subjective. I've always wanted it because it is a factory BMW piece.

I think it first appeared on the 1-series tii concept, as show below:

Looks are definitely subjective, and I kind of like this bumper, though not everybody does.

Don't know if I like it over my stock bumper, but it is different, and it is factory, as mentioned.

Thanks for the replies... Yeah, the BMW Performance looks clean but I guess I wouldn't call it more aggressive.

Anyone replace the standard 135i (08' in my case) bumper with the 1M Style Front Bumper? I've seen this on the ECS website.
