Black M3 Competition Wheels

I know BMW makes a matt black version of the M3 competition wheels. I believe these are them:

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-43...t-19-inch.aspx

I had thought that these were the exact same wheels (fitment wise) as those on our 1M's, but the guy at turner was unsure. Does anyone know if these are the same as our wheels?

Consensus is that they are matte. Wasn't sure on that one but sure that they are the same wheel.

So I'm confused, I saw an M3 at the dealership with accessory wheels from BMW that looked like competition wheel but were matt black. Are these them or are there 2 different black competition style wheels from BMW?

I believe the matte black are the only black wheels option from the dealer, which are the ones illustrated on the GTS. I have not heard of a gloss black option before, but it may have been introduced recently if they do indeed exist from the dealer.

that was easy.

I searched on black wheels and limited the search to the 1M forum.

Photos taken at Tom Williams BMW in Irondale, AL. I would recommend contacting them for specifics..
The wheel was in their show room... and looks to be matte to me.

The matte black wheels look a bit more aggressive in my opinion.... Something to consider in the future...

These are the specs. Are these the same as the stock 1M wheels? Does anyone know the part number for our stock wheels?

Front Wheels - 19x9" ET31 (25.4 LBS, 31mm offset)
Rear Wheels - 19x10" ET25 (26.6 LBS, 25mm offset)

The 1M OEM wheels were taken directly from the M3 competition package, no modifications/changes to the wheels. So yes, they are the same.

FYI, these wheels are neither matte nor gloss. They're satin -- about halfway between matte and gloss. They're the M3 GTS wheels.

Just do what I did, get the M3 GTS wheel colour code and have them painted

I did as I like the look, then I realized many people with VO were going for it. So I had in mind buying a second set of OEM wheels and powder coating them gunmetal/dark silver, but not quite black. I think it would complement the car very well.
