It's deep sea blue metallic, or "tiefseeblau metallic". It reflects light really well when waxed. It especially looks great with sunset lighting.

But make no mistake, up close it might as well be black. You see every knick, bumps scratch...

My Sedona Red baby is no different. Get within 6ft and the scratches & stone chips jump out at you. But it is 14 years old, and still drives like new (now that I have fixed everything that was leaking and/or broken) hahahaha.

Recent Drive

Took my latest E82 for a drive on a favourite road, and stopped in front of a rock face that has served as backdrop for all my (too many) sports cars.

They are the Avant Garde M359's, and yes they are 18x8.5 et35 in the front and 18x9.5 et45 in the rear. The tires are Kumho Ecsta PS31 215/40/18 up front and 255/35/18 in the back.

No control arms and zero camber plates with stock suspension. There is no fender roll, but the rear rubs on bumpy roads every now and then if someone is sitting in the back of the car. Also, I have had zero rub in the front with this setup.

Without camber and arms the front should stick out from the fender a decent amount…

It is a 128i Msport. The wheels do stick out parallel with the fender up front, but it doesn't rub.
