My car moved to the scheduled for production status on the OC, but I called and the automated message told me my car is already in production.. completion on march 20. Kindof sad my SA didn't call me to let me know before hand so I could alter the car if necessary, but I don't need to anyhow.

Yeah, I know. Just would have been that extra cherry on top of the cake I was going to order the same exact pkg you got when I first heard about the 1er but later decided to order the pkg I put together. It would be awesome to see them both side by side.

Shelly BMW had a bunch of them on Saturday when I went. Too bad they have a 2,500 mark up on them... LAME

I fell in love though. These cars are so awesome in person. I can't wait to buy one!

Sterling, Crevier, and Irvine BMW all quoted MSRP to me. Nice 135i was on the lot of Irvine BMW! Sweet! Can't wait for mine!

Sucks I missed out on seeing them. I was at Shelly the day before with my dad. He was picking up his E92.

I'm not surprised at the markup, McKenna was asking 5K over sticker. These markups will continue to exist for atleast another few months until dealer inventory increases.

On a side note, Shelly has a black E90 M3 and a white E92 M3, they were asking $20K markup on each.

I think this car will be at MSRP for a while since BMW is only importing 10,000 units. I hope that number increase next year.

Never go to McKenna anything in my opinion. I went in, they got all my information even BEFORE we talked prices. They said the car I wanted was the only one in Southern California. After 2 hours with pricing still throwing back and forth I just left. They like to tire you out until you give in. Don't ever give in. Afterwards, I got a call from them. I said I bought my car elsewhere the next day.

Ya, I swear, these Southern California dealers are really bad. I had to go to 5 just to find someone to take my money and order one, and now they don't respond to any phone calls or e-mails. I may just ditch the one I ordered (which will be here in a week and a half) and go elsewhere.

I talked to a guy named Rolan something at BMW of Riverside this morning, as they are actually offering $500 off any new car, including the 1 series. You print something off of their website and can bring it in. Or, you can call this Rolan guy at 951-354-4440. He was pretty nice and a straight shooter for a change. He found one alternative car for me, but it's $1500 more than the one I ordered and not quite the color combo I wanted either, so it might not work in the end, but we'll see. I just am dumbfounded that I can be offering to spend $38,000 on a car and a dealer doesn't even have the common courtesy to return my numerous messages trying to set up a time to come in and finally test drive the car (a few weeks ago). K, done venting! =)

Ask for Ron Randall at Rusnak in Thousand Oaks. You will thank me later and you aren't just buying a car from this guy - you will build a solid relationship and "want" to buy more cars from him in the future......trust me.

+1000 and add Shelly to that list.

I'm getting my 135 from Long Beach BMW. Robby was my CA. He is a car guy and a great person to work with.

Now that I am getting in to BMWs, Long Beach keeps coming up as the best dealership to do buisnees with (sales and repairs) in the area. I also heard a lot of good things about Riverside BMW. no frills. No hassles .The only problem is it is 90 min away.

Not all of the So. Cal dealers suck, but a LOT do.

Nick Alexader treated me well, but it's kinda out of the way.
Reza has sold many cars to my friends.

I'll probaby get it from Long Beach since they're close and seem to take care of their customers, thought their sevice department SA could use a little help. They're not all that willing to help.

Ordered mine from Irvine BMW

I ordered mine from Irvine BMW on Friday. Great place, great folks. I took the 500.00 off MSRP coupon from BMW Riverside and they honored it.

I am looking at July delivery of a 128 convertible.

McKenna Norwalk

135i, MSRP less $500 but only because he made a mistake and got manager's approval. Can't complain, but we were dealing with the Internet Side, not the showroom.
May also have been because the unit was loaded to the gills.
