2013 135is N55 5 speed harmonic damper problems

Hey

Anyone have a problem with the harmonic damper pulley on the crank shaft causing auxiliary belt damage?

I have been battling a screaming aux belt problem for weeks now. after replacing the tensioner and both idlers as well as the alternator and power steering pump (basically everything except the AC compressor my shop is now telling me that the harmonic damper mounted to the crank shaft is causing damage to the edge of the auxiliary belt.

The 3 strike rule should apply here. Meaning that, find a better shop.

3 strikes ha I'm at 4 strikes now. Just heard that they want $900 to replace the part

I found it at BMW Parts Hub for $472. I can do the work in 1 hour maybe remove the intake, fan, untension belt belt remove 6 bolts holding the pulley and replace.

If you going to own one you have to do the work yourself

Noisy belt? Are you using an OE belt?
