Yea mine still says at port of exit, but my CA keeps saying it should be here within 3weeks close to mid October. When I talk to him I'll ask him if he knows which boat mines on. Most probably it'll be the same as yours

I think all of us week 37's headed to the US are lined up at the dock waiting for one really special ship. I was hoping to hear that we all got on a boat this week, but not in my case either. Now I am just hoping to see the car before the end of October.

Either that or we really are all on boat and they have not released the information yet.

This is what I'm hoping for...it's happened with quite a few cars before, including a couple of regional ones...the cars showed up before schedule. In fact, I think someone recently posted that his car is parked outside his house, and the tracking system still says it's waiting on a ship!

That's where mine has been for almost 2 weeks....however, if you read my previous post, there is a chance some of our cars may already be on a ship and the tracking system may be a little behind. If yours just got to that status, it may be a matter of 3-15 days before it gets on a ship....depending on whether one just left and it needs to wait for the next one, or whether it finished just in time to get on a ship that's about to leave soon.

Mine may be a week 38 production, but I just reached the 'at port awaiting a vessel' per the 1800#. Maybe they are waiting to fill out a vessel bound for the East coast?

Anyone happen to know how long it takes to load a shipping vessel or what other manufacturers would be onboard for the ride?

Mine completed production on 9.10.2011 and is waiting at the port for a shipping vessel.

I talked to my CA again today and the system has not updated I think he is a bit confused on the lack of movement also. He is sending me messages daily at this point.
Not sure why the sudden 1M backlog. Seems like if you look back towards week 30 to 34, they were getting ships quicker than two to three weeks. This is now the longest I have had a car sit and not be on a ship.

I wonder if the delay is due to increased US demand or BMW trying to get more vehicles on the lots for end of year sales.

Interesting... particularly with respect to 1swift1... looks like you fellows missed a boat by a few days... My ED car was dropped off in Munich 09/06 and made it to port a few days later and the ship left the dock 09/14. Set to arrive this weekend on 10/3.

Seems about right...my car was completed 9/14 so it missed the boat lol

FYI: West Coast guys around week 36,37 production whose car made it on the Asian King. It looks like the ship is scheduled to arrive in Oxnard on 10/19.

I'm week 36, on the Grand Venus - which just a few minutes ago popped up in range. Just off of the Panama Canal. Inching closer daily.
