It doesn't rub going straight, I believe the tire is touching during hard cornering with the wheel slightly turned. Even then, you never hear anything. With the spec rs and dinan camber plates the top of my tire sits flush with the fender. I think just because of the default position of the tire, with a slight turn, the tire grazes the front section of the fender. This is with sumitomo htrIII's. I'll have to take a picture when I install the new suspension.

And you're on what width in front?

Tire has got to be too tall though others have pulled it off. Your offset is pretty high and close to the strut. Maybe time for a fender roll? You have decent camber too

Lower offset and he'll hit his fender more.

The clearance is good on both sides and my fender is completely rolled flush. With my wheel pointing straight, it looks like I have a lot of clearance to the fender and I never hear the tire rub. You know, when the tire rubs, even if it is the most minor rub, you hear it loud and clear. Right now, I never hear it rub. It's like the little nubs that stick off of a brand new tire are barely touching the fender. Even though I don't hear it, I still want to see if I can avoid it from happening so I don't have to keep cover up the exposed metal with primer.

I am hoping with the tc plates that I can increase the amount of caster I have currently at 2.5 degrees camber, which will increase my camber when the wheel is turned to give me additional clearance and most importantly, improve handling.

Depending on what height he sets with the TCK SA he is also going to be dangerously close to the height adjustment collars with that offset and tire height. My 245/35-18 on 8.5 ET45 was like 2 credit card widths from touching the collars with the shoulders. ET40 now with a 5mm spacer and it is still a little close for comfort.

Yeah. It will be interesting to see how mine fit with a 19x8 et 45 wheel and 235-35-19 tire. Thinking it will be close but OK.

What ride height did you go with? Also, are you running their camber plates?

So I have dinan plates on stock top hats, so overall strut height is probably at least 5mm higher without them. I am at 11 threads from the bottom and that gives me about 1.5 finger gap. Without the dinan plates I'd probably be around a 1 finger gap since the entire strut is shorter. Dinan plates and nothing else netted me -2.1 deg camber.

This is ET40 with a 245/35-18... if the tire were any taller it would risk hitting the collars. I am actually going to go to ET35 since I have the fender room to spare.

I was under the impression that the usable range was ~.5-1.5". ~1" is where I'm at now, Though I want to raise it up a little in front.

I don't think that's true. When I spoke to tc, he said the sa could easily go back to stock height.

No M3 arms. Just the coils and plates. I'm on the TCK supplied springs which are probably 7". Have you considered the shorter swift springs? I'll have to get a photo next time I'm around the car. But I have probably an inch of room between tire and fender, which are pulled. I bet I could go to ET30 with some more camber.

harold packs the tcks with 7 inch springs for the e82 since our offsets are so high we hit the springs/perches.
