Akrapovic Downpipe Tune Suggestions

I'm wondering what people are using for their Akrapovic (or other brand) Downpipe tune to override or handle the 02 sensor causing a check engine light, or in some cases limp mode? I currently have DINAN software (the car came with it pre-installed), however I think I'm correct stating that this will do nothing towards the 02 sensor mapping. I've been driving the car here and there for a month or so, luckily with no lights yet. But I know the day is coming. Likely once I do a longer trip on the highway and the vehicle has a chance to take more stabilized readings.

I'm somewhat familiar with JB4 and Cobb and very adversed with DINAN. My concern is that I don't really want to tune the car much, if any. I actually prefer the stock setup over the DINAN. I'm currently running the full Akra Evo system and am aware if I run a stock mapping, I'm not going to get the full HP gains out of the DP's. I'm ok with this... as I mostly purchased it for the sound, and feel like most people, that the Akra system just goes hand in hand with the 1M.

Can somebody point me in the right direction or suggest the best setup to stock, that will aid my DP's from setting off the 02 sensor? I'm ok losing the DINAN if necessary.

I'm of the type that enjoys DINAN hardware, not their software. When it comes to tuning, I've been an avid proponent of BPMSport. They setup a nice stage I for my 1M that really cleaned up the power output and fuel ARs.

You can get a Jb4, which has the builtin DP fix, and just run it in map1 (low boost) mode, or possibly get a mhd flash - there are multiple versions, standalone mhd (similar to dinan) flash (with dp fix) and jb4 mhd- backend flash.

JB4 was my first choice, but I've never had the chance to directly compare it to DINAN, Cobb, or other tunes such as MHD. I find a lot of the N54 tunes can seem "fluttery" and "artificial feeling" in there power delivery through the rev range vs. stock. Maybe I'm picky, but this is just my opinion…

Does anybody know if this map is true for JB4: Map 4 - Stock map w/ CAN active. Allows full logging and in dash gauges on the stock mapping.[/I]

I'm assuming this means no O2 sensor bypass, but the option to reset thrown codes? Has anybody used this an option with DP's? If so, how often is a reset required? Is it a hassle?

I had catless downpipes and JB4 in my 135i with error codes turned on, if you drive the car hard or on the freeway it will give you a check engine light. It takes 30 seconds to clear it. Even though JB4 has good on the fly tooling I wouldn't not go back after using MHD, I've got MHD in my 1M and it's a much smoother power delivery
