Wow.. that's crazy.. you think the engineers would have assessed the areas for environmental threats or potential issues before building. Was if due to drainage or being in a low lying area?

This is so incorrect. Of course your car is covered if damaged in a storm. The problem for Randy is damage would likely total out the car and it cannot be replaced. His decision was a smart one. When I lacked ample garage space, I would simply take my car to the local major airport (PBI or FLL) and park it in long term parking garage. That is a cheap way to protect your car.

This gave me a good idea when I'm able to build my next house. Double doors that would allow my BMW to join me at the snack table.

///M3 Owner parks car in the living room

I'm sure some of you have already seen this video. But I thought this was amazing. Lol. This man parked and lived with his M3 in his living room during Hurricane Matthew. I thought this was awesome. True definition of an ///M enthusiast. Check the video out.

Having gone through hurricane sandy myself and knowing what it's like to lose cars I would have done far more preparations. Probably would have jacked up the m3 on cinder blocks inside the house to be on safe side.

That’s brilliant. Next time my wife exclaims I’m obsessed about cars, I’ll need to show her this post.
