135 i with M235 wheels and tires for winter
I got these wheels and tires at a very reasonable price from a nice gentleman in Waterloo. The tires are very comfortable over expansion strips etc. but they are noisy, like "snow tires" in the old days! Wheels are beautiful though.

Did the m235i TPMS tire pressure sensors work? I’m thinking of getting the same setup but I’m not sure if I will need new TPMS sensors.

I found the same wheels for my 135i for $500 and mounted new set of Michelin Pilot Alpin’s on them for winter. The TPMS sensors from the 2 Series do not work on the 135i, so I just paid to have programmable ones installed.

I’m also running these m240i wheels as a winter setup on my 135i to clear the f3x 370mm front brake conversion
EDIT: It also now fits my front F8x 380mm rotors on 135i as well with a 8mm spacer, due to clearance issues with the brake pad weights. It could possibly fit with a 5mm spacer but I need a hub extender to be sure. Last edited by AshwinLB; 04-29-2024 at 10:02 AM.. Reason: more information regarding fitment |
