Undercoating and Rustproofing?
I have a question with undercoating and rustproofing. I did both with my Acura RSX-TypeS when new. The undercoating cut down roadnoise probably 80% and rustproofing(I live a block from the beach, north of Daytona Beach)held up the whole four years I've owned the car. The place that did it used to be called Ziebart(maybe some of the older guys on here will remember, I'm 44years old). Anyway, does anyone here recommend doing this? Are there warranty issues with doing this? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. My 135i should be here the first week of May...Thanks for all replies...

There's a rust protectant on the car already. I believe that all manufacturers have some type of rust corrosion warranty anyway. I say just spray underneath the car when you wash it.

Thanks for all the replies so far. Looks like I'll skip both and save some cash. Only aftermarket change I'll be making for awhile will be a nice tint job. Florida, ya know.........
