halo replacement bulbs?
I looked at the sticky, but what I'm wondering, is if you can get new bright white bulbs, if at all possible.
If so, does anyone have a part number, or know where I can get them? |

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with the bulb replacements. I picked up the Phillips Diamond Vision 5000K and was disappointed. Not enough of a difference from the stock bulb, ie still plenty of yellow left in them.
If you do pop for some, you just need one pair. One pair will light all 4 halos.

Just figured I'd throw my experience in here. I just installed the Philips Diamond Vision H8 5000k bulbs. I got them off of Amazon for $52, so not a big investment. It's a huge difference from stock. I don't have any disappointment, nor did I want to invest hundreds of dollars in a retrofit for something I would only see in reflection of cars in front of me. It's a nice upgrade, and is definitely pretty white. I've heard they get whiter as they burn in.

Just installed LED halo's I bought off eBay for $30 shipped! I was somewhat skeptical at that price, but the product looks first rate and the look of the halo is exactly what I was hoping for Hopefully, they'll last.
Surprised to see though, that when you hit the turn signal, for example, there is still one "yellowish" bulb in the middle of the innermost halo. High beam bulb?? I didn't remove the bulb cover to go looking for it, but just don't really see where it could have been mounted? Is there an LED replacement available for this? |
