Possibility of fitting 128i Wavetrac LSD to a 07 130i?

Hi all,
I'm considering getting an LSD for my 07 130i. The problem is I live in Canada and the model is never sold there. The closest things I can get are made for NA-spec 128i & 135i. So I'm wondering if it's possible to get a Wavetrac for 128i fit in the 130i diff housing? I did some research and am pretty sure that 135i and 130i diff housings are different so 135i diffs are a no-go, but I didn't see much discussion about 128i vs 130i, and the possibility of fitting one's part to another. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks a lot for any insights!

If I'm reading this correctly then every N52 1er had the 188 size differential, so yes you should be able to use a Wavetrac for a 128i.

How much is your budget?

I have a 130i with LSD on 8 discs. 75/30%

Wavetrac requires working hours. Mine was completely bold on and just a diff change. I did it at home with a jack.

A complete 188LW LSD diff with new bearings cost 2000USD a few years ago. I think the prices have gone up a little bit. They are made in Europe, but international shipping is possible.

I have bought two LSD diffs from this seller. No problems.

I recommend contacting the seller and asking about options. Not everything is displayed on ebay that he has and custom diff is made according to the specs.

My budget is 2000USD-ish including labour. This diff looks really sweet but I'm worried that international shipping rates might be too high as it's a pretty large object, not to mention duty/tax. I'll msg the seller and ask for a shipping quote, if it's lower than the labour rates for installing a Wavetrac I'll prob go for it. Thx a lot for the info!

Fyi since you're on a budget I just ordered a Quaife QDF13N from Matt Lewis Racing for like $1100 shipped. They have Blackline Helical LSD's (Quaife knockoffs) in the $600 shipped range too (USD prices of course).

I was initially thinking Wavetrac/MFactory for the price but jumped to the Quaife when I saw that it could be had for only a few dollars more.
