I'm interested to see some examples of 1ers running something a little different apart from the usual 8.5/9.5 +45/+50 offset.. even if it means running skinnier tyres.
I know that most on this forum would disagree with this.. especially when traction becomes a big factor when you tune the N54/N55 1ers, but I think it would be refreshing to see something a little different from the norm! |

225/35/19 is the widest tires you can pull with the right offset (~ET45), without rubbing. Adding camber, and rolling/pulling your fenders you can probably go 245 max.. 255 maybe? |

i have much better pictures but theyre bigger format and wont fit this site.. I love that i went this route. especially the 275s on the rear although i will bump down to a 255 because not even fender rolling could get rid of the "baller status" rubbing.. hah but seriously 275s look mean!!! but the rubbing makes me sh!t myself so im getting 255

I was looking into some forgestar f14 deep concave's. They are only offered in 19x9.5's (well the only thing feasible on my 1) and the highest offset they're offered in are 42. Im new to 1's so curious if the setup im looking into will work out well without a shit ton of camber nor stretching the tires too much. Im not about that "ISO", "Stance", etc crowd, just really want to get the "deep concave" they offer.
19x9.5 Rear +42 with 255/30/19 tires and 19x8.5 Front with 225/35/19 tires. According to the stock wheels and offsets I should extend 23mm compared to stock on front and rear |

That rear wheel is no good.
I'd say you are going to have to settle with a semi concave unless you want to stretch, pull and lots of camber. Quote:

Yea trying to avoid a super stretch, don't mind a slight one (like a 255 on a 9.5) but nothing crazy. It seems like there is a lot of disagreement as to what will fit.
Here someone is running 18x10's with et 40 rear, a little more stretch then I would care to do myself, but im looking at 19x9.5 et42 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=872951 And here are some 19x9.5 rears with 45 offset, pretty much perfect imo (post number 4) http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...n-fit-on-a-135 |

I say it's almost a certainty that you'd rub unless you roll the fenders. If you run a tire with a fatter profile like the Michelin PSS, then I'd bet money it would rub. Those offsets are just too aggressive for any tire that is even remotely close to the stock sizes. I rubbed on a similar drop (dinan stage I) with +45/+50 offsets and 225/255 PSS. It befuddles me that people can even run the VB3s (+40/+45) without rubbing and no rolling. The 1er fenders are just really tight ... there's just not a whole lot of room to play with.

If you're interested in 19" forgestars I have a brand new set, mounted balanced and ready to go for a 135. may need to roll your fenders w/ your coilovers but they would look flush.
