MHD may be jumping into the N55 world, so there is still a possibility for N55 development on a different platform. Cross your fingers.

Please excuse me for sounding like a complete numpty - but currently researching the best way to go between JB4 and Cobb and naturally read through this interesting post.

I have an 2011 E88 N55 135i

As I understand it Cobb have a successful N54 - and have released their N55 Accessport in the USA - but are not now supporting it to iron out any bugs?

I too am new to this. Chose not to mod the car at all as I enjoyed as is. Now it looks like a DP cat or two are bad. Dealer cost is stupid so a quick search showed that Cobb is really a good option as their stage 2 comes with catted DP's. Mine is a pretty early 08 so it sounds like the N54 AP is pretty well sorted. Are the only concerns in this thread from the lack of support for the N55 version or are there issues with the N54 version.

Thanks
Joe

Not at all familiar with MHD product. I'm NOT looking for the most power/tq. I'm looking for an all around safe and refined product as well as having to replace the DP's due to catalyst failure. Is the consensus that the MHD flash is more refined than Cobb?
