As for the rain, do you want to wait till wednesday morning sometime to call it off/on?
Hopefully it doesn't rain but we'll wait until Wednesday morning if we need to postpone it.

I'm not too sure if I'll be going to this as I have a kind of defective third brake light lense now! I will be using the boot before Wednesday and wouldn't be surprised to see it fall out or fail and I can't get it replaced beforehand. I'm sure the scrutineers wouldn't be too happy about it either still hanging on by a thread, fallen off completely or even if it fell off onto the track! Maybe it needs a bit of tape for a real quality job If I did manage to make it I'd need to borrow a helmet from someone too pretty please Anyone know what their policy is on taking your own drinks in to the venue? Just thinking about bringing along some cool refreshments for everyone while waiting in the queue...non alcoholic of course!

Wish we all knew how this weather will pan out for Wednesday!

Willowbank will post on their website if it is cancelled on Wednesday morning.
There's hardly any scrutineering done on Wednesday nights, just get some race tape to hold it in.

Weather

I'll need to make my decision by Tuesday afternoon because I will swap my wheels that night if it's still on. It's not looking good at the moment.

The next Wednesday night sessions are 13th and 27th October.

Hahaha, Vin I have been doing a little looking around for some MS109... but think I might just use an octane booster to control any knocking for the first time out. Don't fill up completely, unnecessary weight! I'm going to put in around half tank, maybe a bit less.

Hey Richard I don't recommend using an octane booster. I was looking into it some time ago.

I'm leaving my tank at half full. However, I'm gonna deflate my rear tyres to 26PSI and inflate my front tyres to about 40psi

Something I didn't know about last time.

True, thanks for the hot tip.

Is everyone still good to meet at the meeting spot/time before hand?

Calamvale Hotel at 4:30 is it? Should be OK. Public bar or Ladies lounge? Who's buying the first jug? If late I'll bypass and keep going along Compton Rd.

Current Wed forecast...
Fine in the morning then isolated afternoon showers and possible isolated thunderstorms developing over inland parts.

Vin, yeah I knew about the issues with the booster, but I am only intending on using it the once for the strip. I 'may' have a run using map7 so figured it would be safer doing that.

PS- Vin, on the other hand if you are interested and have time, I would be keen to go you halves in a batch of race fuel if you can get some? There are a few places around Slacks Creek that are distributors. APC at Underwood do mayb be able to sell some.

Run your tank down to 1/8th tank. Leave tyre pressures at street settings all around.

Hey Richard, sorry I forgot to get back to you on on this. It's probably too hard to organise today but we'll keep this in mind for our next run.

Also, do you know if it's safe for our cars to switch between high octane race fuel and pump fuel?

Not sure if it's safe... other 135 owners have done it so I assume it's not 'that' bad to do it.
