WSID drag day Wed 4th April

Hey all,

WSID have canned the Sunday Drags for the moment. For anyone that missed the last one it was a great day out with lots of cars. It was a pity about the temps which impacted everyone's ETs (it was 112f at 11 am), I think it must have been the only day of summer we had!

That in mind there is a Wednesday night session on the 4th of April, while we'll all have to get up the next day for work it proceeds the Easter long weekend so it's only 1 day instead of 2.

The temperature should be cooler as well than during the day so should lead for some faster times. For anyone who hasn't been (although I think pretty much everyone has now) Kenny has a good drag racer primer thread that is worth a read for the logistics on how to do it the first time.

It'd be great to get some Euro's out for some runs out there and get some time on the boards. I heard Justin has his clutch sorted so it'll be good to see what kinda of numbers those RB turbos can throw up. I know he is keen to get out there with the car

Peter said he would be there at the next one to run a baseline with his 335.

I'll be along with a few mates who got the bug at the last Sunday meet.

Gates open at 430 pm from memory although if you get out there by 520 that's plenty of time to get through scrutineering and lined up to race.
