Took the car on a trip up to NY for a weekend at Belleayre. 5hr drive to NJ to drop off the dog with the in-laws, pick up a friend, and another 2hrs up to the mountain. Car did great with 3 people + gear, and in packed snow and slush on the drive and we had a great weekend! Downside is the car got absolutely FILTHY inside and out. Just brought it to a self-wash place to hose it down real quick and plan to give it a proper bath tonight while it's still warm(ish).

That's literally how my car looks like every winter here in MA. Pointless to wash it other than take off the salt stains. Other than that, car looks amazing. I've always watched your progress, and I have to say, it's looking good!
Btw, do you mind telling me what kind of portable work light it is you have there? I'm looking for one so I can use it in my garage very small garage/storage area. Thanks! |

As for the light, I got it on Amazon. It's decent but you need to keep it charged, and if you charge it while it's in use you'll kill the battery: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks man I love the setup, it's so nice having the option of mild or wild at the push of a button.

What a beast! Love that splitter and the canards. Highly recommend shooting RAW and getting Lightroom to process your pics. You'll be able to bring out the colors and tones you want to really make the pictures pop!

Thanks! My buddy with the WRX just got a new exhaust so we're going to try and do some drive-by videos this week

Had some fun the past couple days doing some detailing and messing about with a hobby box. I made a custom mounting box for the exhaust cutout remote and dash cam "event & photo" trigger button.
20180216_124742 by Matt Steele, on Flickr 20180216_124800 by Matt Steele, on Flickr The interior was in desperate need of attention after several ski/snowboard trips with muddy boots and gear filling the cabin. 20180216_112930 by Matt Steele, on Flickr 20180216_112848 by Matt Steele, on Flickr The outside didn't get much attention because we're supposed to get snow tomorrow, again. And I'm sure, even though it won't actually snow, that the county will dump copious amounts of salt on the roads. That said, I am extremely impressed with the continuing performance of the CQuartz UK coating. It makes getting the real dirty stuff like mud and salt off the car surprisingly easy. The more sticky things like grime need a proper wash to get off, but I've done nothing but touchless washing for the entire season since around October and the car does not look bad. 20180215_234139 by Matt Steele, on Flickr 20180215_233100 by Matt Steele, on Flickr

Took the 1er out for some fun in a lot today, WHAT A BLAST. It was refreshing to get some actual snow for once. Sadly it'll probably be gone by tomorrow but I got my fill of sideways and snagged some shots in the process.
