Lower Seat postition mod?

I havent looked too hard yet but after hitting a couple bumps at speed its obvious my head is too close to the roof of the car. I have the seat manipulated all the way down but its not enough. My head has hit the Oh sh*t handle more than a couple times. All the German cars ive owned i feel like im in a fish bowl...i want to feel like im more in this car without buying aftermarket seats. Is anyone in the know on a mod that lowers the stock seat postition?

How tall are you?? I'm 6'1" and I have about 4 inches of head room with the seat all the way down.

If you have electric seats, the manual seat will give you a lower seat position. I'm about 6'5" and I could not have bought the 135 without the manual seats. The electric did not give me the lower position I needed.

Shave your head, open your sunroof and everytime you get out of the car put a 100lb sand bag in the seat to conpress the foam.....

Actually in all seriousness I have the same problem, I have manual seats and I need to have the seat positioned at the high point in the roof and then drop it all the way and angle the seat back to just fit.

It really depends on how reclined you are driving, I like to sit up straight, so I have almost no head room.

I am 6'1" and come close but am Ok with the seats. I have manual seats.

Do the power seats have a tilting function like the manual ones do? The lever by the drivers seat on teh lower right front. This allows you to slide/tilt the seat back. Kind of rocks back. You might look in your manual for more info.

Damn, I'm 6'4" and I don't have a problem at all. I have my seat all the way down, but I still feel like I'm sitting high.

Hi,

I have the performance seats, and the lower position of the performance seats is higher that the lower of the M sport seats.

I really would like to lower my Performance seats position, but I dont know how... anybody knows?
