For tint you can check out Sunshield in Sherman Oaks, on Van Nuys Blvd. It's right at Van Nuys & the 101 FWY.
As far as mods, I HIGHLY recommend seeing Danny @ MINI Corsa, in North Hollywood. There's nobody I trust more than Danny with my cars. Tell 'em Jason sent ya. MINI Corsa 11316 Burbank Blvd Unit B North Hollywood, CA 91601 Phone: (818) 505 - 8240

hmm, I thought I replied to this thread. did my post get deleted or I didn't hit the reply button.
Anyways. for tint, STAY AWAY from ProMax at Alhambra. Their Tint Suck Ass (Johnson Film). I cannot talk about their installation service since I didn't get them to install anything. But definitely Not Their Tint. I've 50% all around, but the back is really bad. It clouds/blurs images at night. I can't see who or what's behind me. I can see headlights, but can never make out the details about what car is behind. Also, they didn't do a good job on the dot matrix either. I took the car back, and they say that's how it is, and blame the Radiator lines being too Think in BMWs that cause that problem... All they could offer me is to remove the tint. I've used SunSheild before on my Golf, 50% back 70% front, excellent tint. But since I moved to Alhambra, and being lazy, and didn't wanna drive all the way across town for a tint, I went with ProMax...and I regret it till today. Gonna have it redone soon. Installation I've tried Daniel and Evolution Racewerk, they're both excellent! |
