As poorly as Obama performed, he lied maybe 10% as much Trump?

I don't believe Obama did a bad job, and he would easily win another election.

Yeah Obama didn't do a bad job.
His failed Middle East policy created the European refugee crisis!

Chaos in Libya, Syria, hundred of thousands killed in Syria because of His policy to remove and undermine the secular Assad, Kadafi and underestimating ISIS.

Regime change in Egypt, Stronger Iran, Iran started the war in Yemen...

Bush 43 could've told big dummy, regime change doesn't work in the middle east.

I would wager that if Obama could run against Trump in 2020, he would win by a landslide.

The world considers Obama to be an evolved and inspirational leader; the polar opposite of the current occupant of the White House.

A big root of most of your problems is that you give outsized credit or blame to a president for what happens at any given time.

Giving total credit or blame to a president for the economy, law making, crime are part of the political stupidity we see now. This of course occurs on both sides of "the aisle".

We are essentially a law based society, the culmination of years of enlightenment thought (yea basically libtards of their day). Locke, Paine, Hobbs, and many many more.

Like it or not, law based societies are beurocracy based societies. The president has great effects on some parts of the society but of course his main real powers are the power of the bully pulpit and the power to wage war. The later has been eroded massively by the congress for better or worse.

So we should encourage a president when they do a good job in changing our course, but at the same time cannot be so stupid and blind to the actual sources of our problems. At the same time we have to be smart enough to give credit to the people / groups who deserve credit for good outcomes, not just whoever happens to be president at that time.

JFK as president of course got a lot of credit for expansion of our space program and NASA but we also hailed heros such as Aldrin, Armstrong, Glenn. They were recognized as the real heros and pinnacles of bravery. In today's paradigm they would only be complimented if they showed respect to the president, accomplishments be damned. When people think of our space pioneers they rightly think of our heros first and not JFK first.

Now in specific regards to the places where a president can have a very dramatic effect there needs to be both a high level of scrutiny and deference. But unfortunaly most of what I see these days is stupid cheerleading by giving credit to the current president for things that were the accomplishment of others and blaming others for things not in their power. That is what most people call partisanism. Be smart and separate partisanism from facts. There is almost none of that in the current climate and most people are of low IQ so they feed into it. Think for yourself and look at facts. Ignore what your "gut" feeling on the matter is, more then likely you are one of the stupid people on this planet and your gut is wrong. Try to use your brain to rise above.

Don't forget there was a time when people blamed or gave credit to their leaders when it rained or there was a drought. When I see people doing the same in regards to the economy I can only shake my head at their sheer stupidity. But that is another topic.

So you think Russia has a right to dictate policy to the Baltic states?
