No experience with them personally (yet) since I'm still under warranty but I've heard nothing but good things about http://www.importmotorwerks.com/ - they recently changed their name from MPowered Automotive since they work on more than just BMWs.

I had tires installed and a four-wheel alignment by MPowered, just a few months back. They were a recommended installer at Tirerack.com. They did great work, very friendly. I was very satisfied. |

Highly recommend Import Motor Werks in Cary, NC http://www.importmotorwerks.com/ (formerly MPowered Automotive). I've had some mods done there as well as oil changes, great folks, friendly, attentive and competent. And note, my 135i is still under warranty, my local BMW dealer sucks (I've posted under dealer reviews/ratings subforum).

Let's say my service at Performance BMW in Chapel Hill was less than stellar. Here should be the link to the thread: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=262
I've been to Performance once, my experience at the link above, and to MPowered Auto (now Import Motor Werks) three times (mods installed, break-in oil change & inspection) and have been more than happy to pay MPowered for their work. pge |

Yes, I really enjoy dealing with those folks, all of the staff I've met love performance autos and are really into doing a great job at a reasonable price. Please tell them you got a referral from a very satisfied customer. pge |

So during my visit to the wake forest area (a month before moving date) while settling on my place and just driving around for awhile, I stopped by ImportMoter and spoke to the owner (Jacob), he was real cool, laid back, offered to show me around, spoke to a few of the shop guys. So overall I got a real good vibe and im looking forward to gettin some stuff done there once im moveed down. Its only like 20 min from my place
