HELP PLEASE! A ton of codes on car after getting service + downpipes installed
Hi there!
So I got a service done to my car: Replaced Turbo Pressure and Return Line O-Rings Replaced Coolant Line O-Rings Replaced Bank 2 Sensor 1 O2 Sensor While the mechanic was up there I figured get him to install my catless downpipes as well. Also did my spark plugs (NGK Stage 1) and an oil change. Before I got this done all I had was the O2 Sensor code and 2B28 (Fuel tank ventilation system and purge air system, micro-leak. I wasn't burning oil, had a very minor leak from turbo lines which is why I did all the o-rings. Ever since getting this done, I got codes: 2A7A - DME - Camshaft position controller, exhaust, cold start 2AAF - DME: Fuel pump, plausibility 2B28 - DME: Fuel tank ventilation system and purge air system, micro-leak. 2C27 - DME: Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter: System check 2C2B - DME: Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter: System check 2C2C - DME: Oxygen sensor 2 before catalytic converter: System check 2C31 - DME: Oxygen sensor control 2C32 - DME: Lambda control 2 2C6A - DME: Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter: Swapped 2C6B - DME: Oxygen sensor after catalytic converter: System check 2C6C - DME: Oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter: System check 2C7F - DME: Lambda control 2 2DEB - DME: Power management, vehicle electrical system My mechanic said the O2 Sensor codes and the lambda codes are just from the fact that I'm catless now... I don't feel this is accurate. Can anyone help me with this? The moment I saw all these codes my heart dropped, this car has been an absolute money pit so far and now this. Help, please!! |

Are you running a tune? You can't remove the cats and not expect emission codes. You will continue to have the lamda/O2 codes unless you suppress it with a tune or an O2 fix.

Not too sure what this is for, but the car is running significantly better so far. The mechanic just installed the wrong ones in the wrong downpipes. |
