Transmission Blips on Braking?

I'm starting to notice my DCT transmission is blip the throttle when breaking or coming to a stop which may cause a jump forward.

Anyone experience this and what may this be a sign of?

If your talking about the revs jumping up to 1k+ revs after coming to a stop then it's normal. There is a software update for it.

I can't say for a fact. I chose not to do the update. There are claims that it tames the car down a bit.

Also it's expensive outside of warranty.

Generally most BMW dealers will charge you two hours labor rate to have a SW update done. That's about $240 in most areas.
