Who is sitting at BREMERHAVEN?

My car is scheduled to dock in the NY/NJ harbor on the 23rd. I expect it to be at the dealer within 7 business days. Dealer is only 30 miles away from the Vehicle Preparation Center for me, so after 7 days I will begin to worry that there was damage to the vehicle causing the delay. I got my fingers crossed! Some people have even apparently gotten their vehicles within three days of the ship docking.

Any update on the Jingu guys? I was in the Uk for a week..this helped me keep my mind off things...

Think it is due in Halifax tomorrow and in NY on Thursday.

And now docked - ontime I love it. My last BMW order the ship was delayed 2 days at sea that made the wait even longer.

I saw it docked too, just went and looked again, and there was no Jingu Maru anywhere. Guess he unloaded and left that quick....hmmm

Edit: Just checked again, Jingu is STILL docked, my bad, computer must have been screwy.

Anyone know what the different ship colors on AIS mean?

The tracking lady says I'm in Bremerhaven, waiting for a ship. No boat information is available. Do I keep calling the 800# until they say which boat I'm on? How else would I find this out? There seem to be many different boat carriers with many different ships.

Also, I'm in the Bay Area, so I'm not sure where the boat would land.

I'm such a noob!

I am not positive how West Coast Delivery works, as I am from New Jersey, but you should be able to figure it out.

As of today, my car is awaiting transport at Bremerhaven. I hope the ship comes soon. I looked at the schedule and there are 2 ships departing on 3/25 and then another on the 27th and 28th. Hopefully it will catch one of those 4.

Funny. I've read that post a bunch of times which is where I foudn the 800# to call (everyday). Just didn't remember seeing the west coast stuff. Laughing at myself - thanks for helping out a noob.

At the NYK site, I entered Bremerhaven Origin and San Diego, CA Destination and nothing comes up. ??

So here's the killer question.
How do I track the car from Charleston (Port) to the VPC and then to my dealer? Any thing other than the 1-800 number or Owners Circle?
According to the ship logs my car was discharged Friday 7.30pm and it's still on it's way to the VPC????

did you arrive on the liberty?? as far as i know, there isnt no way to track it from port to VPC , which really sucks, cause all you have to do is wait, and you know theres so many cars out at port, that it just has to wait for a train (which is how it gets to Greer, SC VPC) ...my car just got here today, on the Ingolstadt, and I know I have to wait still a while

Yes. It arrived on the Liberty. I just checked and it's at the VPC.
So I'd estimate a week for it to get trucked to my dealer in Mich.
Tomorrow will be the end of the 8th week since I ordered.
