Might as well just show you the autotrader page:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...ngId=453305426

I updated the page earlier today, but it hasn't updated live yet. The car also has a BOV, and the intercooler is ETS, the intake Burger Tuning.

my autocheck: http://www.autotrader.com/redirect/e...DcNok2k8k4GeOw

I love the car, but am selling it because blowing money on my new company. I swapped it for a non-BMW

Cheers!

Nice! Have you listed here on the classifieds section?
I've always loved the active-E hood!

Good luck with your business!

Not yet. Wasn't sure if people did that here. Plus, I think I can't start threads for some reason.

Cheers!

Thanks! Yeah, it's amazing. Drives civilized most times, but hit a button (or two) and it becomes a mean sounding beast. I'm bias, but I love the way my 1M looks.

thats you own opinion, not a bad one at that, but it's not the opinion of EAG or how they do business. They are after only the lowest mileage, rarest examples of cars and that's what they sell. They are basically a dealership for collectors, not drivers. (or atleast thats what they are trying to be)

thats unfortunate to hear man. But it reinforces my point above to champignon about how they really want to have only collectible cars with low mileage

It's been a while since I went to the EAG website, but I have seen cars with 30-50,000 and more miles listed there. Perhaps they have changed their current operations; I don't know.

This whole idea of owning an older car with extremely low mileage makes no sense to me; is it for people who get off having their butler wash and wax the cars so that they can give tours of their garage(s) to their similarly demanding friends? There is a place for old cars with virtually no miles on them, for example in the BMW Museum, in Munich. Otherwise, why own something you can't or won't use? I am sure there are people who are looking for just that experience, but I don't think there are very many of them and I sincerely doubt that the majority of the customers who have bought from EAG would fit that description. Rather, people buy from EAG because they think the cars are in good condition and "vetted." Whether or not they are, I have no clue.

EAG is a great site for the person that wants the near perfect used BMW. I have spoken to the owner many times and I am surprised by their model but it works and they are very good guys for BMW. The prices you see are the prices the cars sell for. They do not discount off the prices listed. They go through the cars thoroughly to make sure everything is as it should be. They also offer to buy back any car you buy from them. A few years back they had a rare Euro Mercedes 190 16v. I purchased the car and enjoyed it for a couple years. The EAG owner told me another of his clients had inquired about the car. I ended up selling it back to him in a very simple transaction. He gave me exactly what I paid for it but admittedly I probably hadn't put 1000 miles on the car. I also threw in some accessories I had purchased that I no longer needed. In short he has a lot of customers that buy from EAG and sell back to EAG. They know the cars will be in near perfect condition or he won't buy them. Saves a lot of time if you don't want to look long and hard.

I think what is annoying about EAG is that while they do have their own network of people who sell them cars, they've bought many cars I've seen on Autotrader and then mark them up 25%. Yes, they do all the things you say with reconditioning - but if you read their list of improvements (which they include on every vehicle) it shows "Full tank of gas - $65." That is a direct line I pulled from two cars I wanted to buy there. So that's the kind of markup you're paying....even on gas!

I actually bought my e30 M3 from them in 2007. At the time I was getting frustrated looking for a good car, colour I wanted, proper records, etc. I ended up buying the car site un-seen after one of the owners spent about an hour on the phone while walking around the car describing every little detail & blemish. They even helped prepare all my exportation docs so the trip back to Canada went off without a hitch. I did pay about a $3-4k premium over the market value but it's been more than worth it as my car has now been appraised for over 300% what I paid for it. If EAG were selling my car today looks like it would be an $80k car lol.

I've just kept up with general e30 M3 maintenance and enjoy it on the backroads in the summer along with a occasional lapping day when it's too much effort to bring the e30 race car.

That said, I do find their prices are creeping higher than what they were originally doing but I can vouch that they source only the best examples of M cars.

All those EAG cars have insanely low mileage. I've got around 30K miles on mine.
