Private Shops that work on BMWs (North of Dallas Area)

Looking for a private shop .. I ordered the BMW performance exhaust for my 135i and Classib BMW quotes me over $500 to install it ..

Anyway .. no way I'll pay that for a catback install ! .. Anyway .. anyone know any good shops?

Autoscope in Plano does BMW work, but I have always used Pronto Mufflers in Plano for aftermarket exhausts.

Cool .. you know anyone down there to assure good work? BTW .. with the BMW Performance exhaust, you have to cut some of the stock exhaust .. do they work with that as well?

thanks,

Sorry, I can remember who I used to work with, but they installed two differnent Borla's on my MINI Cooper. They did quite a few MINI installs. Let me look back on the MINI board to see if I can get a name.

Jeremy was his name. He use to do group buys and stuff for MINI, so I think he was either the Manager or Owner. I have not talk to him in years though.

Pronto's name always comes up on the local BMWCCA board whenever someone asks about exhaust work. They seem to be highly regarded.

Eurosport in Plano is also excellent, though I have not had any exhaust work done by them.

I was going to say do it yourself, but once I heard cutting involved, I take that back.

Thanks .. contacted them and I'm going to have them do the work. There install quote for the performance exhaust was about 5x lower than the dealer quote !
