MHD N54 Logging problems

Hello all,

I have a 2009 135i with downpipes, exhaust mods, cai, alpina flash.

Just had 6 new coils and spark plugs. plus 100,000km service. (Australia)

I have a JB4 with white wire removed, however it is off on the steering wheel.

I am running a MHD OTS Stage 2+ tune 98 ron.

It runs pretty well from what I know but I decided to do some logging. Make sure I am getting the most from what I have.

Plugged in the cable to my Samsung Tab S2, MHD flashes, connects, reads all just fine.

When I begin logging it starts showing gauges for about 20 - 30 seconds and then stops, MHD lags, stops and I eventually have to close it. Not only does it do that but it also starts messing with the turbos (throwing boost activation codes). I lose boost and the engine starts spluttering and almost stalling.

The only way I can get it back is disconnect OBD completely, turn of the car, give it a bit and then turn it back on.

So far it has allowed me to log for 10 seconds until the issue starts.

Anybody with any ideas? Or am I missing something and I am just stupid?

Do not try and log via MHD with a JB4 installed. The signals conflict over the CAN bus.

So people with MHD + BEF flash can't log using MHD?

Completely remove JB4?

had this same problem when i had a jb4 installed. removed the jb4 and everything logged fine.

You want to log with JB4 software with a BEF. Only way to use the MHD logger is to completely remove the JB4.

No. I'm asking how people log with that combo.

So....removed jb4 today (locked my boot with battery connected).

Logs perfectly now with mhd.

Now i just need to get some good logging done!

In Australia it is so hard! Nearly every single stupid person on the road dobs you in for speeding!
