Has anyone NOT seen a 1er on the road yet?

I have yet to see one in person. My goal was to avoid all sight of 1ers until delivery of my car so it would be that much better when I receive it. So far so good (although I didn't really do anything to avoid them, I just haven't seen one yet)

I know there was a 135i and a 128i 'vert sold on the island but I haven't seen it around yet. Hawaii isn't that big...don't know how I haven't seen them around! My guess is Nice1's 135i will be the first one I see here...with mine making an appearance shortly after that!

I've seen them in lots, but haven't noticed any on the road yet. I've seen 2 Smart Fortwos on local roads though

I have only seen them at the dealer and in my driveway.. yet to see one on the road yet... kinda lookin forward to it...will be nice to give each other the "nod"...
on a side note I was kind of creeped out by a guy in a minivan/suv thing who was trying to ride my ass looking at my car and then pulled up along side of me while trapped in traffic on the parkway and was like totally staring at my car like some sort of stalker... creeped me out... gave me a good excuse to go from 70 to 120 mph when I got an opening to shoot through traffic...:biggrin:

not one...except for when near the dealer...then I see the same 128i being taken out all the time.

I've only seen them at the dealer here in Denver/Boulder so far.

I have not seen any 1 series in my area. I live around penn state university and I can not find one. They have a BMW dealership here and they had 2 128i and 1 135i but i have not seen them around =/

I saw a montego blue 135i 2 days after the March 22nd release. Driving home from work, I was right behind it at an intersection. The next morning my CA calls me informing me that my car was built and waiting transport.

reo5001--I'm at PSU a lot to referee, and I have not seen any in my travels. I'm also on I-80 a lot, and no dice there.

I just got done driving about 1700 miles in my Mini from Wisconsin to North Carolina. I was in 9 different states and I did not see another 1er the entire trip.

Reminds me of when I first got my Mini Convertible in 2004, the first month they were released in the US. Now there are 3 exactly like my Mini in my parking lot at work!

It's a cool time to be buying the 1er.

i saw ichiban's SGM in Alameda, CA but I have not seen one in San Francisco, CA. I am glad tho cuz this is the time to "shine" since this car is so rare.

i remember a few years back, i saw so many 3 series on the road. it's like the 3 series has become the new "civic"

I have not seen another 1 on the road yet. My GF saw a 135i parked at a store right near our house with the same color combo.

I bought it in Allentown, joel confer did have some but i believe 2/3 were pre-orders and their demo car got sold right away. Mine is an AW 135i, Honk if you see me:roundel:

Correction... My dealer did have a stripped down 128i on the lot. (only "upgrades" were gray poplar and auto tranny) I decided not to drive it because it was basically nothing like the car I was planning to buy. They were suppose to get in a 135i demo about a week ago but my CA said it didn't come in and that he'd let me know when it did so I could test drive it. Haven't heard from him yet.

Haven't seen a 1 series yet (and that is between driving NYC 7 Long Island)... The thought of this just crossed my mind Sunday as I was driving.

I suppose this is an concrete fact that 1 series are in fact, NOT selling so well.

Only seen one other One, and it was parked. Same color as mine (SGM).

Haven't seen one driving yet.
